Bekkah Sims, MSP

Bekkah Sims, MSP received her Bachelor of Psychology degree from Carson-Newman University, and she completed her Master of Science in Psychology degree through the University of Phoenix. She is currently enrolled in Carson-Newman’s dual degree program to earn her Master of Science in Counseling for Clinical Mental Health and Professional School Counseling. One of her first positions in mental health was as a Crisis CCFT Case Manager providing a continuum of care through on-going assessments and support services to adolescents and their families. She also worked in the Children’s Crisis Stabilization Unit which helps to stabilize children and teenagers in an intensive, short-term inpatient setting following a mental health crisis. Bekkah has a heart for working with kiddos of all ages and offers a compassionate client-centered approach with emotionally focused techniques in her practice. Bekkah especially enjoys helping kiddos and their families with a variety of symptoms, familial dysfunction, mood and adjustment disorders, and suicide intervention and prevention.
