Michele Slabaugh, DBH, MA, LPC-MHSP-S, NCC

Dr. Michele brings more than 40 years of healthcare experience to her role, including the past 18 years in behavioral health after transitioning from nursing following her own transformative experience with counseling. She is deeply passionate about supporting individuals and families navigating complex clinical and social challenges across the lifespan.

Throughout her career, Dr. Michele has held senior leadership roles overseeing clinical operations and healthcare system transformation, and she has served as an Adjunct Professor in the Graduate Counseling Program at Lipscomb University. As Mid Tennessee Clinical Director, she is committed to investing in both clients and the next generation of counselors, helping each person grow into the best version of themselves.
