Taylor Shelby is pursuing her Master of Social Work at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, with a clinical concentration. She is passionate about creating a compassionate, supportive environment where individuals and families feel heard, understood, and empowered to navigate life’s challenges.
Taylor takes a person-centered, strengths-based approach to therapy, recognizing each client’s unique experiences, values, and goals. Her work is informed by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), family systems perspectives, and trauma-informed practices. She is committed to helping clients build resilience, develop effective coping skills, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful lives that align with their values.
Taylor is dedicated to fostering a safe, collaborative therapeutic space where growth, healing, and self-discovery can flourish.
